Profile and Career Highlights

Jake is a player who is contributing both behind the plate as one of the Knights catchers and in the outfield.

His combination of good speed and an accurate arm are big assets when he is in the outfield, and his strong blocking ability is a benefit behind the plate. He displays great game awareness in all situations.
Jake has gotten off to a strong start at the plate this season, augmenting his defensive contributions. A spray hitter, he has shown an ability to hit the ball to all fields.

He says as a child, he instantly developed a passion for baseball during his very first T-Ball game that has never left him.

He played with the AAA Brampton Royals for many years before moving to the Ottawa region. This is his second season with the Knights.

Off the baseball field, Jake plays high school football (MVP 2007, Senior Rookie of the Year 2008) and reached the Eastern Ontario Championships as a high school javelin thrower.
