Profile and Career Highlights

In his second year with the Knights, Rizz has added some pop to his bat to go along with his role as the starting second baseman.

In the infield, Rizz shows good range and the ability to knock down hard hit balls and keep them in front of him, allowing him the chance to throw out more runners. He has a good ball transfer on the turn when attempting to make double plays and can throw with accuracy across his body when off balance.

At the plate, Rizz is hitting both for power and average this year, smacking two home runs in the early weeks of the season.

Among his career highlights were helping lead Holy Trinity into the 2007 city high school baseball finals, and homering in an exhibition game against a Quebec 18U team in May.
